TriGrandPrix UK will take place at Leybourne Lakes, Larkfield, Aylesford, Kent ME20 6AA, United Kingdom. TriGrandPrix UK is the only event offering Prize Money for Professional Triathletes and also for Age Group Triathletes. With £40,000 in prize money, at TriGrandPrix UK, the world's elite Professional Athletes and Age Group Triathletes will be competing intensely for the top places.

TriGrandPrix UK is the first accurate half Ironman distance triathlon to be held in Kent. It has a superb one-lap swim, a very challenging bike course that will almost eliminate drafting. The bike course starts with a short climb and that sets the theme for the whole 56 miles. At the two mile mark, there is the steepest climb of the course, less than one mile. Thereafter, there are some rolling hills, some long gradients and of course some very fast downhill. The last long climb is five miles from the end, just enough time to get your legs back...before the run which is a flat and fast run course. TriGrandPrix UK overall is a very spectator friendly event for all.

If you want a draft free race then the TGP Kent course promises to give you every chance. Tough steep climbs and long uphill drags will sort the men from the drafters! [Graeme Stewart]

The course has a great mix of short Sharp climbs, longer drags and nice TT bar loving sections, taking in some great views of the south coast countryside. Combined with the technical aspects, it will make sure that drafting is 'busted' by the course and strong, honest cyclists will be able to really benefit from riding hard. [Jonathan Hotchkiss]

TriGrandPrix UK will have the biggest group of Professional Triathletes of any triathlon ever held in the UK. Our focus at TriGrandPrix is Athlete Care. The professionals participating will be available to meet with novices and experienced Age Group Triathletes to give advice and guidance on how to improve at the sport. Eneko Llanos, the new king of Abu Dhabi triathlon, will be on hand for the weekend to support all participating athletes." [Jim Breen, TriGrandPrix CEO]
